【作家メッセージ】
木工をやり始めたきっかけは、私自身の日常生活で使う家具からスタートし，作る喜びと使う楽しさをコンセプトとして始めました。心地よいデザインと生活空間を豊にする木工家具から小物、カトラリー、アクセサリー、インテリア雑貨など無垢の木から作り出して３０年以上経過いたしました。又、２００６年より心やすらぐ響きを奏でるクラシックギターの製作を始めております。
主に広葉樹　（ケヤキ、カエデ、ナラ、タモ、サクラなど）を使用して制作しています。
私が使用している技法は、指物、刳物、曲物、挽物（木工旋盤）寄木、箱物、組子　
象嵌等を利用して人に寄り添う工房家具、クラフト作品を制作しています

【Message from the Artist】
My journey into woodworking began with a simple desire: to make furniture for my own daily life.
From the start, I found joy not only in creating, but also in using what I made. Over the past 30 years, I’ve continued to work with solid wood, crafting everything from furniture that brings comfort and warmth to everyday spaces, to smaller items such as utensils, accessories, and interior goods.
Since 2006, I’ve also been making classical guitars that resonate with soothing, heartfelt tones.
I primarily work with hardwoods such as zelkova, maple, oak, ash, and cherry.
My techniques include traditional Japanese joinery (sashimono), carving (kurimono), bending (magarimono), turning on a lathe, wood inlay (yosegi and zōgan), kumiko latticework, and box-making.
Through these methods, I handcraft pieces designed to bring beauty, functionality, and a sense of closeness to people’s lives.

1990年頃より心地よいデザインを目指した木工家具の製作を始める。
2006年　こころやすらぐ響き奏でるクラシックギター製作を開始。
2013年　第55回大阪工芸展　近畿経済産業局長賞
2014年　第53回日本クラフト展　入選
2015年　第57回大阪工芸展　独立行政法人造幣局理事長賞
2016年　第22回新美工芸展　入選
2018年　高岡クラフト展　入選　　伊丹国際クラフト展　入選
2021年　大阪府工芸功労者表彰
2022年　伊丹国際クラフト展「酒器、酒杯台」伊丹賞
2024年　伊丹国際クラフト展「酒器・酒盃台」入選
