\nAt the core of craft design is ‘functional beauty.’ Before creating, I base my work on design principles, utilizing traditional techniques and creativity to produce new pieces.
\nThis approach is suited for producing a variety of small-batch items, maintaining traditional skills while offering enjoyable and diverse creations.
\nI believe that the enjoyment of hand-to-hand “craftsmanship” is the most important factor in creating comfortable beauty that accompanies our daily lives.
\nBy leveraging the characteristics of the materials, I prioritize creating ‘enjoyable products’ from the user’s perspective.
\nBeing consistently involved in the creation process means that I am both the inventor and the crafter, as well as the designer and the producer.
