\nWoodworker, classic guitar maker.
\nI have been working with wood for more than 30 years, creating interior goods such as wooden furniture, small articles, cutlery, and accessories with the aim of creating a comfortable design for daily use. In addition, since 2006, I have started to produce classical guitars that play a soothing sound.
\nThe trees used in woodcrafting are becoming more and more difficult to obtain in recent years due to environmental destruction, global warming, and other factors that affect the environment. The price of wood has skyrocketed, and it has become impossible to make a living as a wood craftsman.
\nIn this situation, I focus on the effective use of wood and produce tableware, cutlery, accessories, etc. that express the quality of wood used in daily life by using scraps of wood from furniture production, wood chips, and small pieces of wood.
\nI use traditional techniques such as kumite, splicing, kumiki, yosegi, inlaying, wood turning, and combinations of wood and resin to create objects that enrich people’s lives.<\/p>\n
